Weddings Band Workshops

Build a lasting memory by making your own wedding bands, something you’ll treasure every day. At JewelryClassDC, for over 10 years, goldsmiths Dan Valencia and Laura Perez have worked together with several hundreds of couples by creating their own custom wedding or partner rings.

  • Make your wedding unforgettable by creating each other’s rings. Goldsmiths Daniel Valencia and Laura Perez have helped hundreds of couples craft meaningful, durable works of art, together.

    Couples learn to form, forge, solder, texture, and polish their rings at professional goldsmithing benches. Workshop fees start at $995 for gold and silver; platinum and palladium workshops start at $1095.

    • Consultation: Workshops begin with reviewing sample rings in sterling silver and gold, explore textures and designs, and finalize your design and materials. Silver, gold, platinum, and palladium can be purchased at cost.

    • Gemstones: Diamonds or other stones can be incorporated for an additional fee (stones are provided at cost; professional setting available).

    • Engraving: Rings can be engraved at no additional cost using our CNC or laser engraver. Artwork must be submitted one week in advance of your workshop, but can be after the initial consultation. Rings must be at least 2 mm wide to include engraving.

    • Savings: Precious metals and gemstones purchased at cost often save couples significantly, compared to mass-produced rings.

    • Workshop: Then couples schedule their session at our studio at 52 O Street NW, Washington, DC. Laura will document the entire process with professional photos and video.

    • Work directly with Daniel Valencia over 5 to 6 private sessions.

    • Purchase your diamond or colored gemstone at wholesale cost through our trusted dealers.

    • Create your one-of-a-kind ring at a professional bench under expert guidance.

    Designed for individuals seeking to create one-of-a-kind engagement ring for your partner. This workshop ensures your ring will be crafted with care and skill.

    Fees start at $3,250. All stones and materials are purchased at cost.
