$695.00
sold out

This 3-day entry-level jewelry making workshop offers students the basic techniques and building blocks of metalsmithing. This exciting workshop teaches the same curriculum as taught in our regular 8 week semesters. During the 3-day intensive, students will create four projects in sterling silver, crafted like a professional metalsmith. Students learn layout, sawing, forging, texturing, filing, polishing, soldering, and basic stone setting, including the correct way to build a heavy bezel setting (never with wire) and setting a stone with a hammer and punch.

Students learn proper tool techniques and safety practices, allowing them to express their creativity through metal. Each session you’ll learn about more techniques and be introduced to the tools and resources in a modern goldsmithing studio.

This 3-day intensive is Saturday - Monday, August 8-10, 2026 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Students should arrive with lunch.
