Metals 2 Workshop August 2026 (8/14 - 8/16) 2026

Prerequisite: Metal I or comparable experience. Metals II has different projects each semester. This exciting 3 day class will be challenging and rewarding. Students have creative freedom in the execution of these projects. Explore further the techniques introduced in Metal I. Forging, fusing, hollow forms, and advanced stone setting are the focus. All Metal II students learn to set faceted stones. Practice  Develop and create your own ideas.

Students learn the proper tool techniques and safety practices, allowing you to express yourself and your creativity through metal. Each session you’ll learn about more tools and techniques and be introduced to the tools and resources in a modern goldsmithing studio.

This three-day intensive is Friday - Sunday, August 14-16, 2026 from 9A to 5P. Students should arrive with packed lunch.
